Early morning we can visit Sree Padmanbha Swamy Temple and after break fast visit Kuthiramalika. Visit Napier Museum, Zoo, Sri Chitra Art Gallery. After Lunch proceed to Poovar and have a boating through Mangroves is a nice experience. Visit Azhimala where the beautiful Shiva statue situated on the shore of Arabian sea. Visit Kovalam beach and have some sea foods from beach side restaurants. Relax at Hotel.

A 50 Kms drive to beautiful cliff, Varkala is the only region in southern Kerala where cliffs are found adjacent to the Arabian Sea. These Cenozoic sedimentary formation cliffs are a unique geological feature on the otherwise flat Kerala coast, and are known among geologists as Varkala Formation. It is the only place in Kerala where the hills come close to the sea. The uniqueness of the place is the merging of cliffs with the Arabian Sea. Varkala Beach is a popular beach. Proceed to Jadayu Rock - The world’s largest bird sculpture and within it a rock theme park for adventure enthusiasts is what today pays tribute to the mythical bird from the Indian epic Ramayana – Jatayu. Back to Hotel.

The slopes shrouded in mist fill one with a feeling of wonder and amazement. A large amount of rare flora and fauna can be seen here including mountain flowers, wild orchids and exotic butterflies. The temperature is equable throughout the year and the three-hour drive from the city is justified once the valley comes into view. One can always stop over at the breathtaking Kallar River on the way, which flows parallel to the road in the opposite direction, with the picturesque Meenmutty Waterfalls only a little distance ahead. Relax a day full at Ponmudi and back to Hotel for night stay.
